'We only target military sites': Russia makes cynical statement after children killed in Kryvyi Rih

Russia always strikes only military targets, and that was the case during the shelling of Kryvyi Rih. The Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov made such a cynical statement, RBC-Ukraine reports, citing Russian media.
Kryvyi Rih
During a conversation with journalists, Peskov was asked whether Russian intelligence could have made a mistake with the data during the missile strike on Kryvyi Rih. So far, there are 20 dead victims there, 9 of whom are children.
To that, Peskov advised trusting only the statements of the Russian Ministry of Defense, claiming that Russia does not strike civilian targets.
"Our military strikes exclusively at military or military-adjacent targets. No strikes were carried out on social facilities," Peskov stated. "In this case, I suggest relying entirely and completely on the statement of our Ministry of Defense."
Immediately after the massive shelling of Kryvyi Rih on April 4, the Russians invented an excuse for the killing of Ukrainian children. At that time, the Russian side claimed that they struck with a high-explosive warhead during a meeting of Ukrainian military personnel.
Truce
Peskov was also asked whether Russia and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin support a ceasefire with Ukraine. The Kremlin spokesperson replied that Putin supports the idea, but "a number of issues need to be resolved first, and for now, they remain up in the air."
Earlier, the Kremlin claimed that an energy truce with Ukraine allegedly began on March 18. At the same time, we reported that with US mediation, Ukraine and Russia agreed to halt strikes on energy and port infrastructure. The "truce" came into effect on March 25.
However, despite such statements, the Russians have already violated the ceasefire several times.
At the same time, for the ceasefire in the Black Sea, Russia demands the lifting of restrictions on its agricultural exporters, in particular, the reconnection of the Russian Agricultural Bank to SWIFT.
