Trump: Russia offered a 'pretty big' concession in war with Ukraine

Russia has proposed not to seize the entire territory of Ukraine as a concession to achieve peace, according to a statement from US President Donald Trump.
In response to a journalist's question about what concessions Russia has already made to achieve peace, Donald Trump stated that the cessation of the war and the refusal to seize all of Ukraine's territory is, in his opinion, "a pretty big concession."
"Stopping the war. Stopping taking the whole country," said the US president.
Today, Trump stated that he has his own deadline regarding peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.

Today, Trump made a strong statement following the missile strike on Kyiv. The American leader said he was disappointed that Russia had launched a missile strike on the Ukrainian capital and called for an end to the war.
"I am not happy with the Russian strikes on Kyiv. Not necessary, and very bad timing. Vladimir, STOP! 5000 soldiers a week are dying. Let's get the Peace Deal DONE!" Trump emphasized.
Later, the US president expressed dissatisfaction with the Russian attacks on Ukraine on the night of April 24, as peace negotiations were ongoing.
