Trump plans to appoint Musk as his advisor if he wins elections
US presidential candidate Donald Trump wants to offer billionaire Elon Musk a position in his administration if he wins the elections, according to Reuters.
Trump was asked if he could appoint Elon Musk as a minister or advisor if he becomes President of the United States.
"He's a very smart guy. I certainly would, if he would do it, I certainly would. He's a brilliant guy," Trump said.
In turn, Musk wrote on X after Trump's statement that he was “ready to serve.”
What happened before
Elon Musk is actively supporting Donald Trump in his election campaign. In particular, according to media rumors, he allocates about $45 million a month to the America PAC committee, which supports the Republican presidential candidate.
Recently, it became known that the former US President gave a major interview to Elon Musk.
Musk's support for Trump began after an assassination attempt was made on the Republican candidate. Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, shot at him at a rally in Pennsylvania.
As a result of the shooting, there were a number of deaths and injuries. Trump himself was wounded in the ear.
