Trump on nucler deal with Iran: 'That's going to be interesting time, we're down to final moments'

The United States may sign a nuclear deal with Iran soon. Otherwise, something else will happen to solve the problem, according to the US President's statement.
"That's going to be an interesting time. And we'll see what happens. But we're down to the final moments. Final moments. Can't let them have a nuclear weapon," he said in the Oval Office.
The American president hinted that the deal could be signed soon.
"We have a situation with Iran that something's going to happen very soon... Hopefully, we can have a peace deal. You know, I'm not speaking out of strength or weakness. I'm just saying I'd rather see a peace deal than the other, but the other will solve the problem," stated Trump.
US-Iran nuclear deal
US President Donald Trump wants to sign a new nuclear deal with Iran. The two countries had signed such an agreement in 2015, but Trump withdrew the US from it in 2018.
Subsequently, Trump expressed his desire to reach a non-nuclear arms deal with Iran. He prefers to resolve this diplomatically rather than through potential military action and bombings.
Earlier, Bloomberg reported that in February of this year, during a conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Trump asked him to act as a mediator in talks with Iran on issues such as its nuclear program.
According to Reuters, Trump sent a letter to Iran's leader proposing negotiations on a nuclear deal.
