Trump names US delegation for Russia-Ukraine negotiations

US President Donald Trump said that JD Vance, Marco Rubio, and Steve Witkoff will participate in negotiations with Russia, according to a White House briefing with reporters.
Trump stated that in US talks with Russia regarding the war in Ukraine, Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Special Envoy Steve Witkoff will be involved.
According to the US president, his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin is expected to take place within two weeks.
“Pretty quick. Marco Rubio is going to be meeting with his counterpart as you know Labra and they'll be meeting pretty soon. They're going to set up a a time and a place very shortly. Maybe it's already set up,” Trump said.
He noted that it can be difficult to hold meetings because Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Russian President Vladimir Putin have bad relations.
“So, we may do something where we're separate, but separate but equal,” he added.
