Troops will remain in the vicinity of Iran until a comprehensive peace agreement is reached with Tehran, and if no progress is made, more powerful strikes cannot be ruled out, says US President Donald Trump.

"All U.S. Ships, Aircraft, and Military Personnel, with additional Ammunition, Weaponry, and anything else that is appropriate and necessary for the lethal prosecution and destruction of an already substantially degraded enemy, will remain in place in, and around, Iran, until such time as the REAL AGREEMENT reached is fully complied with," US President says.

"If for any reason it is not, which is highly unlikely, then the "Shootin' Starts," bigger, and better, and stronger than anyone has ever seen betore," Trump threatens.

He also emphasizes that there will be no nuclear weapons, and the Strait of Hormuz will be open and safe, adding that American troops are restocking and resting and already looking forward to the next war.

US-Iran conflict

On the night of April 8, the United States decided to postpone strikes on Iran and agreed to a two-week ceasefire.

In response, Tehran announced its readiness to temporarily open the Strait of Hormuz to shipping.

However, the situation escalated again that very same day. Israel launched a large-scale series of strikes against Hezbollah targets, marking the largest attack since the escalation began.

Iran struck US allies within hours of the announcement of the two-week ceasefire. The UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia reported shelling on their territories.

In addition, Iran has once again closed the Strait of Hormuz to tankers and accused the US of violating the ceasefire.

Meanwhile, the parties are preparing for negotiations, which are set to begin on April 11 in Islamabad.

The US delegation will be represented by Vice President JD Vance, Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, and Jared Kushner.
