Trump warns Putin of possible 'surprise' response

Reporters then asked the US president whether he planned to take any action in response to this dissatisfaction with Putin.

According to people familiar with the conversation between the two leaders, Trump told Zelenskyy that he had ordered a review of the Pentagon's ammunition stockpiles following US strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities last month. However, he did not instruct the Department of Defense to halt arms shipments to Ukraine.

Kremlin criticizes Trump decision to resume arms supplies to Ukraine

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov commented on US President Donald Trump's decision to resume arms deliveries to Ukraine.

He noted that "there have been many contradictory statements" regarding the suspension of American military aid.

"It is obvious that the supply of weapons to Ukraine continues, and it is clear that Europeans are also actively participating in arming Ukraine. These actions hardly contribute to efforts aimed at peaceful resolution," he complained.

Czech President Pavel warns Ukraine war could last for years

According to Pavel, Russian forces have managed to occupy parts of Ukrainian territory, but at the cost of heavy casualties and losses.

"So far, Ukraine's defense has been successful because they are inflicting significant damage on Russian troops. They are able to hold positions, especially in areas that are crucial for Ukraine. And if the war continues in this way, it will last for years. This situation is unacceptable for everyone," he added.
