Trump declares the Strait of Hormuz safe
According to Trump, Iran has received a strong warning against laying new mines in the strait.
"Any ship or boat placing new mines will be immediately and systematically destroyed," the US president wrote on X.
He also claimed that, with the help of the US Space Force, American forces are monitoring "every square inch of the strait."
"There is a zero tolerance policy on mine placement in full force and effect," he added.
Iran’s nuclear sites
Trump also said that the United States is monitoring Iran’s "Pickaxe Mountain" and three other nuclear sites that have already been destroyed.
RBC-Ukraine previously reported that on August 24, the United States launched a new operation aimed at weakening the Iranian regime and its allies. The operation was dubbed Economic Outcast.
It was also reported that Trump had changed his strategy toward Iran. He is now relying on sanctions and a wait-and-see approach rather than military action.
In addition, Trump said he considers the Strait of Hormuz to be US territory. According to him, Washington controls the entire region.
