US President Donald Trump assured that the issue of Russia's war against Ukraine remains very high on his list of priorities, the American leader made this statement while speaking with journalists.

"As far as Russia and Ukraine, where is it on my priority list? Very high. I thought it was going to be one of the easiest ones (wars to resolve)," Trump emphasized.

He added that there is enormous hatred between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. According to him, it is the highest level of hatred he has seen in his life.

"It is high on my list, not in that it affects the US so much because it’s very far away. Last week, and for the last four weeks actually, 32,000 soldiers have died — 32,000. And it's been averaging 25,000 to 30,000 soldiers a month have been dying in that stupid war, and I'd love to see it end," the president said.

He also noted that Russia’s war against Ukraine is the worst event the world has seen since World War II.

New Ukraine, Russia, and US negotiations

Ukraine, Russia, and the US are expected to hold a new round of peace talks at the beginning of March. The exact date of the meeting is still unknown, but it is expected to take place between March 5 and 8.

The parties plan for the meeting to take place in Abu Dhabi. Just yesterday, March 2, President Zelenskyy stated that the talks had not been postponed, despite the US and Israel operation against Iran, which also affected Saudi Arabia.

However, today it became known that the location of the meeting for the delegations of the three countries may be changed.
