US president gets angry at Putin and threatens sanctions
It was reported yesterday that in an interview with NBC News, Donald Trump stated that he is outraged and very angry with Vladimir Putin, particularly due to his remarks about a temporary government in Ukraine under the auspices of the UN and the ongoing war. Additionally, within the month, further tariffs will be imposed on Russian oil if there is no agreement on a ceasefire.
“If Russia and I are unable to make a deal on stopping the bloodshed in Ukraine, and if I think it was Russia's fault — which it might not be — but if I think it was Russia’s fault, I am going to put secondary tariffs on oil, on all oil coming out of Russia,” Trump was quoted as saying.
