Tractor driver seriously wounded as Russian FPV drones strike Chernihiv region

The Russians attacked the Chernihiv region, severely injuring a tractor driver in a village, according to a Telegram post from Vyacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration.
Throughout the past day, Russian forces continued shelling the border areas of the Chernihiv region.
Sixteen settlements came under fire, with 41 attacks and over 60 explosions recorded. The enemy used mortars, artillery, attack drones, and FPV drones.
The most serious incident occurred in a village of the Semenivka community, where a Russian FPV drone struck a tractor working in a field.
The 47-year-old driver sustained severe injuries. He was hospitalized at a local medical facility and is currently under medical supervision.
Due to his critical condition, doctors are preparing to transfer him to the Chernihiv Regional Hospital.
Shelling of Chernihiv region
On Friday, January 3, Russian forces carried out a triple strike on Chernihiv, reportedly using Iskander-M missiles.
According to the regional administration, more than 10 private homes were destroyed or damaged in the attack.
Five people were reported injured and one killed as a result of the triple strike on the city.
Additionally, on June 5, Russia attacked the city of Pryluky in Chernihiv region with strike drones. According to local authorities, at least six drones hit residential areas.
One of the drones struck the home of the local fire chief. His family — his wife, his daughter who was a police officer, and her one-year-old son — were killed in the strike.
That same night, Kharkiv, as well as Odesa, Sumy, and Kherson regions also came under attack. In Kharkiv, 19 people were injured, including four children.
