Aftermath of Russian attack on Chernihiv: First fatality reported

On the evening of Friday, December 3, the Russian army launched a missile attack on the city of Chernihiv. There are already reports of casualties and damage, according to the Head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration of Viacheslav Chaus.
According to him, the enemy launched a triple missile strike on residential areas on the outskirts of Chernihiv, causing significant destruction to several houses.
"One fatality has already been confirmed. There are injured individuals. Search and rescue operations are ongoing," Chaus reported.

Dmytro Bryzhynskyi, head of Chernihiv City Military Administration, reported that as a result of the missile attack, two residential houses were partially destroyed, and windows in seven residential buildings were damaged.
According to the preliminary data, 1 person was killed and 4 people were injured.
Some time ago, air raid alerts were declared in several regions of Ukraine. The Air Force had warned of a potential ballistic missile strike.
Subsequently, explosions were reported in Chernihiv.
Dmytro Bryzhynskyi, head of Chernihiv City Military Administration, stated that two private houses were damaged during the shelling, and one civilian was injured.
