Top EU diplomat Kaja Kallas arrives in Kyiv: What’s on her agenda

The head of European diplomacy, Kaja Kallas, arrived in Kyiv on a working visit on Monday, October 13.
Kallas posted a photo showing her being met by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha at the Kyiv railway station.
"I am in Kyiv today for talks on financial and military support, the security of Ukraine’s energy sector, and holding Russia accountable for its war crimes," Kallas wrote.
She also noted the courage of the Ukrainian people, which "inspires the world."
"Their resilience calls for our full support," she added.
Kallas' statements on Ukraine
In early September, Kallas said that the war in Ukraine would continue for at least another two years. According to her, the war has reached a dead end, and Russia is gaining courage, as evidenced by the recent Russian attack on Poland.
A few days ago, she said that Russia is masking its failed summer offensive with terrorist attacks on the Ukrainian civilian population and infrastructure. According to her, the EU continues to support Ukraine: it is finalizing the next package of sanctions, providing funding, and supplying weapons.
Kallas said Russia would not stop until it is forced to.
