Timeline shifted? Zelenskyy says when written security guarantees will be ready

Ukraine, together with its partners, plans to prepare a written configuration of security guarantees as early as next week, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported.
Following his conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the head of state said that they spoke a lot about security guarantees.
According to Zelenskyy, national security advisors are currently working on developing each component.
"Next week the entire configuration will be on paper," he promised.
Zelenskyy also clarified that during the conversation Erdoğan said he was involving Defense Minister Yaşar Güler in the process to understand how his country can help in guaranteeing security for Ukraine, in particular in the Black Sea.
Timeline for preparation of written security guarantees
On August 19, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that within a week or ten days it was planned to formalize security guarantees for Ukraine on paper.
Already on Thursday, August 21, the head of the Ukrainian state assured that the configuration of security guarantees for Ukraine was planned to be prepared for a possible meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
In turn, US President Donald Trump recently noted that Europe would provide Ukraine with significant security guarantees, and Washington would support such guarantees.
