Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will pay a visit to Ukraine on May 29-30, according to the press service of the Turkish Foreign Ministry.

"H.E. Hakan Fidan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, will visit Ukraine on 29-30 May 2025," the statement reads.

The visit will last two days, though the agenda has not been disclosed. It is worth noting that before this, on May 26–27, Fidan visited Russia, where he met with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov, and the head of Russia's delegation for negotiations with Ukraine, Vladimir Medinsky.

At the time, media reports indicated that Fidan was expected to reaffirm his country's readiness to serve as a mediator in a new round of talks between Kyiv and Moscow.

Meanwhile, it was revealed today that Russia has proposed holding a second round of ceasefire negotiations with Ukraine on Monday, June 2, in Istanbul.
