The Russian enemy is assaulting the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction up to ten times a day. Ukrainian troops are successfully repelling the attacks, according to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), Oleksandr Syrskyi.

Syrskyi spent two days directly in the units in the Kharkiv region to personally assess the situation on the South Slobozhansky direction.

According to Syrskyi, last week, Ukrainian warriors repelled over 60 enemy assaults, and about ten battles took place every day.

Russian troops are trying to push through with numbers, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard are applying tactical and technological solutions to prevent the enemy from advancing.

“I am not leaving any section of the front without attention, including those areas where there is a threat of new offensive actions by the enemy,” he said.

During the visit, Syrskyi discussed with the command of the AFU and the NGU ways to strengthen the defense and clarified the priority needs of the military.

The commander gave instructions to resolve urgent problems.

The situation on the South Slobozhansky direction remains tense, but Ukrainian defenders are holding their positions and preparing for possible offensive actions by the Russian troops.

Russian losses in the war

Over the past day, the losses of the Russian invaders amounted to 1,050 personnel.

Ukrainian warriors also destroyed two tanks, seven armored fighting vehicles, 56 artillery systems, 306 unmanned aerial vehicles, three missiles, and 149 units of the enemy's automotive equipment.
