Ukrainian Commander-in-Chief reports to Zelenskyy on frontline situation
Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi has reported on the situation at the front three times today, stated President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
According to Zelenskyy, all of Syrskyi's reports are effective and exactly what Ukraine needs right now.
"I am grateful to every soldier, every commander, and every warrior who ensures the defense of our Ukrainian positions and the fulfillment of our defense tasks," Zelenskyy said.
He noted that Ukrainians know how to achieve their goals, especially in the context of war.
"Russia brought war to our land and must feel the consequences of its actions. We, on the other hand, aim to achieve our goals as quickly as possible in peacetime under conditions of a just peace. And this will happen," the President emphasized.
In addition to Syrskyi, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, and the head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasyl Maliuk also reported to Zelenskyy today.
