The situation at the front

Earlier this evening, the General Staff reported that the Russian forces are looking for ways to break into the position of the Ukrainian defenders, as well as to try to push the Ukrainian Armed Forces units from the occupied borders.

The military command added that as of the evening of June 10, the number of combat engagements along the entire front line had increased to 66. The Pokrovsk direction remains the hottest.

Earlier today, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on the enemy's misinformation regarding the capture of the village of Ryzhivka in the Sumy region. President noted that the Russian army tried to implement a propaganda operation in this village.

The head of the Center for Military and Legal Studies, Oleksandr Musiienko, told RBC-Ukraine that the Russian forces are unlikely to launch a large-scale offensive near Ryzhivka. According to the expert, there are no signs of preparation for such actions.

Earlier, experts from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) said in their report that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are conducting a counterattack operation in the Kharkiv region. Enemy advances are recorded at the front in the areas of Kupiansk, Siversk, Chasov Yar, and near Avdiivka.
