Russian fake news about occupation of Ryzhivka
Yesterday, on June 9, Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov announced the alleged occupation of the border village of Ryzhivka. However, this is not true. As noted by DeepState, the village is located in a gray zone, and the situation there has not changed since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Moreover, Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups have entered the area before.
According to the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, Andrii Kovalenko, there are no active actions in the Sumy region border area. He also said that the Russians tried to test the defense in the direction of Ryzhivka, but Ukrainian soldiers inflicted fire on them.
