Syrskyi reported to Zelenskyy on successes of Armed Forces despite shortage of ammunition
The Ukrainian army managed to stabilize frontline positions despite a shortage of ammunition. This outcome is very positive, according to a statement by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
According to the President, at the meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, he listened to a report by the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi.
He provided the President with a detailed report on all those points on the front where the Russian army was expected to succeed at present.
"We managed to stabilize our positions. The Chief reported on our actions that prevent the occupier from advancing," the President said.
Zelenskyy emphasized that such successes by the Armed Forces of Ukraine were achieved despite a shortage of ammunition and significant delays in supplies. The President described these results as very good. He specifically thanked all soldiers and commanders who contribute to the results on the battlefield.
Frontline situation
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported today that there have been 57 combat clashes on the front. Ukrainian soldiers repelled Russian attacks near Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and damaged two enemy air defense systems.
The total number of losses for the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is over 445,000 Russian soldiers.
