Today, during the day, the enemy shelled Sumy twice. Russian forces struck multi-story buildings in the central district of the city, according to the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov.
The first attack took place in the afternoon, when the invaders hit a residential building in the Kovpakivskyi district of Sumy. As a result, a fire broke out, and one female resident sought medical attention.
A few hours later, a second enemy attack occurred, also hitting a residential building. The strike hit the lower floor of a five-story building.
This time, a child is among the injured. Doctors provided necessary assistance to all the wounded, and SES (State Emergency Service) rescuers extinguished the fire.

What is known about the occupiers in the Sumy region
Russian forces are systematically attacking the Sumy region with drones and missiles. In the first ten days of the month, the city recorded a series of strikes on residential and commercial facilities. In particular, on the night of April 4, the Russian units attacked residential buildings with drones.
The enemy also struck a shopping mall in the city center, where three people were injured. Administrative buildings have also been targets of enemy attacks – on March 18, a Russian drone hit a military enlistment office building.
