Russia hits shopping mall in central Sumy in Ukraine, three injured

Today, April 3, Russian forces struck a shopping center in central Sumy. Two people were injured as a result of the attack, according to a statement by Head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration Serhii Kryvosheienko.
"The enemy hit one of the shopping centers in central Sumy. As a result of the drone attack, two people were preliminarily injured. They were hospitalized. The building and windows were damaged. Other consequences are being clarified," the statement said.
In addition, Kryvosheienko said that the number of people injured as a result of today's enemy attacks on Sumy has increased.
In particular, as a result of a morning attack in the Kovpakivskyi district, there is one injured person. The driver of a route taxi was near the site of the strike while heading out on a route and sought medical assistance due to the injury.

Later, the head of the regional military administration noted that the number of people injured as a result of the attack on the shopping mall had increased to three. According to him, all those injured as a result of today's enemy attacks are receiving medical care in the hospital.
Strike in Sumy and the region on April 3
This morning, Russian forces carried out air attacks on the Sumy region. In Shostka, a guided aerial bomb hit a multi-storey building, and private houses were also destroyed.
At present, one person is known to have been killed, and their identity is being established. Three more injured people are in the hospital, including a 29-year-old woman in serious condition.
In Sumy, enemy drones attacked the Kovpakivskyi district and the city center. Non-residential buildings and cars were damaged.
In addition, Russians attacked several communities in the Dnipropetrovsk region overnight and in the morning, including Pavlohrad. Explosions were also heard in Zaporizhzhia, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy regions and other regions.
Russian troops also hit a route taxi with a drone in Kherson in the morning. As a result of the attack, several people are reported to be injured.
