Russia has lost four times more military personnel on the front over the past four months than Ukraine, states Finnish President Alexander Stubb.

"How much of a better place Ukraine is in today than they were a year ago? In the past four months — and sorry for being morbid — Ukraine has killed or wounded between 30 to 35,000 Russian soldiers per month," the Finnish president said.

He also noted that the strikes were carried out using drones, with a ratio of one Ukrainian killed to five Russians killed.

Latest on the war in Ukraine

Peace negotiations between Ukraine and Russia have reached a dead end due to the conflict in the Middle East, as much has been done on the part of the US, which is now involved in another war — with Iran.

However, US President Donald Trump recently stated that he continues to hold talks with Russian leader Vladimir Putin and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The NYT wrote the day before that neither Ukraine nor Russia currently has any paths to peace or victory for either side.

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi recently stated what the real situation at the front is, as Moscow often resorts to manipulations and fakes.
