Strike on Dnipro: Two people contacted, fate of several others unknown
In Dnipro, almost a day after a missile attack on a residential building, two people whose fate was unknown before got in touch, reports the head of the Dnipro Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak.
"Two residents of the Dnipro high-rise building damaged during yesterday's attack got in touch. They are a mother and a son. Fortunately, they are fine," said Lysak.
According to him, the family was not at home when the tragedy occurred. However, the fate of several other people remains unknown.
A search and rescue operation is underway at the site, with rescuers dismantling the ceilings of the destroyed floors.
Shelling of Dnipro
On Friday, June 28, Russia fired a missile at the city of Dnipro, hitting a residential high-rise building. According to rescuers, apartments from the 8th to the 11th floor were destroyed in one of the building's entrances.
As of 13:00 on Saturday, June 29, there were 13 injured, including a pregnant woman and a child, and one casualty as a result of the shelling.
