'Strike objectives achieved': Russia makes cynical statement after attacking Ukraine

The Russian Ministry of Defense offered a cynical explanation for the massive strike on Ukraine on September 28. Moscow claims it targeted military objectives, not civilian facilities.
"Last night, the Russian Armed Forces carried out a massive strike using long-range precision weapons of air and sea-based launch, as well as attack drones, against Ukrainian defense industry enterprises used in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and against the infrastructure of military airfields," the statement reads.
At the same time, Russia cynically claims that "strike objectives were achieved, all designated targets were hit."
