Today, on July 19, the Russian army launched a missile attack on a playground near a residential building in Mykolaiv. Against this background, pressure on the aggressor must be increased, according to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The Head of State reminded that as of now, there are five wounded and three victims, including a child.

“Russia proves every day with its terror that the pressure on it is insufficient. Such destruction of life must be stopped. New solutions are needed to support our defense. Russia must feel the strength of the world,” the President said.

What preceded it

Today, July 19, in the evening, an explosion was heard in Mykolaiv. The Air Force had warned about a missile launch towards the city.

Later, Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych wrote that the Russians had hit a residential area of the city. In his turn, the head of the Regional Military Administration Vitalii Kim said that ambulances were sent to the scene of the incident.
