Call of Duty: Black Ops 6
Release date: October 25, 2024
The Call of Duty giant, now owned by Microsoft, is back with its annual game this year in the form of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, which will be available on Game Pass on day one.
Co-creators Treyarch and Raven Software call the single-player campaign, which is always available online (obviously through continuous texture streaming), a "spy action game" set in the early 1990s. The game will feature such historical figures as Saddam Hussein, George W. Bush, and Margaret Thatcher.
The main innovation of the gameplay is Omnimovement, which will allow players to sprint, slide, and dive in any direction. This should further enhance the action movie atmosphere that the game is aiming for.
As expected, the game will offer a wide range of multiplayer modes, as well as the classic Zombies mode for the loyal fans of the Call of Duty series. The game will be released on 25 October, and you might want to free up some space on your disc in advance - the file size exceeds 300 GB!
