The situation in the Pokrovsk direction is currently challenging, as multiple units are involved and their work needs to be synchronized, Danylo Borysenko, head of intelligence for the anti-aircraft missile and artillery division of the Rubizh brigade, says.
According to him, over the past day, there have been over 90 combat clashes in the Pokrovsk direction.
"The situation is indeed very complicated, and the main difficulty on our part is that a large number of different units are involved. These include the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, and the military law enforcement service. There are a lot of special forces," Borysenko says.
He adds that because of this, it's hard to get all the fighters from different units to work together.
"It is very important and a great responsibility to synchronize the actions of all those in charge and all units to carry out strike and search operations, block Russia's units, advance within the city of Pokrovsk, and cut off their logistics and capabilities. And to hunt down the takeoff points of their pilots," concludes the Ukrainian military.
Heavy fighting is currently underway for Pokrovsk. Earlier, it was reported that Ukrainian assault troops had cleared an important Russian building.
On November 5, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine denied the encirclement of Pokrovsk claimed by Russian propagandists. The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold their defenses within the Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad agglomeration.
