Sick and cynical creature: Zelenskyy responds to Putin's mall attack accusations
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy states that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and his intelligence services have been engaged in terrorism for over two decades.
"Today, Putin once again spoke to himself, broadcasted on television again, blaming Ukraine. Sick and cynical creature. Everyone is a terrorist to him except himself, although he has been feeding on terrorism for two decades," says Zelenskyy.
According to him, Putin is the biggest promoter of terror.
"And when he is gone, the demand for terror and violence will disappear with him because that's his demand. No one else's," the president says.
Moscow suburb attack
In the evening on Friday, March 22, in the city of Krasnogorsk in the Moscow suburbs, several armed men in camouflage opened fire at the Crocus City Hall concert hall. According to the Russians, over 100 people were killed in the attack.
Russian authorities stated they detained four individuals involved in the terrorist act. Russian dictator Vladimir Putin claimed that the terrorists allegedly wanted to escape to Ukraine, where a "window" was prepared for them.
Responsibility for the attack was claimed by the Islamic State group. The United States confirmed ISIS involvement and dismissed any connection to events in Ukraine.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that "what happened yesterday in Moscow, obviously, Putin and other scum are just trying to blame it on someone else."
