Shelling of Zaporizhzhia: Death toll rises
The number of casualties from airstrikes on Zaporizhzhia has risen to 25, with 12 still in hospital, according to the State Emergency Service and the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, on Telegram.
As of 10:00, the number of injured people rose to 25, including three children: two girls aged 4 months and 4 years, and an 11-year-old boy. The shelling resulted in the deaths of 10 people, eight of whom were in vehicles.
Attack on Zaporizhzhia
On the evening of December 6, Russian forces launched a strike on Zaporizhzhia. As a result of the shelling, a service station was destroyed, and a fire broke out. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded to the attack on Zaporizhzhia.
Around midnight, the rescue operation in Zaporizhzhia was completed. According to rescuers and local authorities, 10 people were killed in the attack, eight of them while in vehicles.
Additionally, more than 20 people were injured, including children.
