Shelling of Poltava: Number of injured increased, police revealed footage of destruction
As a result of today's attack by the Russian Federation's forces on Poltava, 16 people were injured. An investigation into the violation of laws and customs of war has been initiated, according to the Office of the Prosecutor General and the police of the Poltava region.
What did the Russian army use
It is noted that the Russian forces launched a missile attack on Poltava.
"The enemy had struck civilian infrastructure with a Kh-59 cruise missile," law enforcement officials said.
Civilians were injured as a result of the strike - 16 people are currently known to have been injured, including 2 children. Six people were hospitalized, and the prosecutor's office launched a pre-trial investigation into criminal proceedings over violations of the laws and customs of war.

Law enforcement officials said that several apartment buildings, a kindergarten, power lines, and garages were damaged

Number of wounded increased
At 09:33 p.m., Pronin said that 22 people had sought medical assistance.
"Three of them are children, one child was hospitalized. Eight adults are also being treated in hospital," the official wrote.
Strike on Poltava region
Earlier it was reported that Russian troops struck a suburb of Poltava. The head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Filip Pronin, initially reported nine casualties.
He later clarified that 12 people were injured, including children. The Russian forces also damaged power lines, which led to a power outage for 53,000 consumers.
