As a result of a missile strike on the city of Kryvyi Rih, one man has died, and the number of injured individuals has increased, states Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the city's Defense Council.

He noted that the attack nearly destroyed a three-story residential building in a densely populated area of apartment buildings.

Currently, 12 injured individuals have been identified - three of whom are in surgery. Among them, two men have sustained extremely severe injuries.

"Unfortunately, a 39-year-old man with a critical open traumatic brain injury died in the hospital operating room. The doctors did everything they could," Vilkul said.

Additionally, he mentioned that numerous buildings around the impact site have been damaged, with shattered windows and balconies.

An emergency rescue operation is underway.

The State Emergency Service also specified that approximately 12 garages were destroyed in the attack. A fire broke out in a residential building and nearby structures, covering a total area of 500 square meters.

Air attacks

On the evening of Monday, October 28, Russian forces launched a ballistic missile at the city of Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The impact site saw a fire break out, damaging a medical facility, a vehicle, and a gas pipeline.

Additionally, the Russian army struck Kharkiv with guided air bombs.

The bombs hit the Derzhprom building, leaving many injured.
