On Friday, September 8th, a missile strike on Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk region injured 32 people, reports the Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Serhii Lysak.

"Already 32 people have been affected by the missile attack in Kryvyi Rih. The majority are in a moderate or 'satisfactory' condition. However, there are also 'severe' cases," he noted.

In addition, according to him, 3 administrative buildings have been damaged. 7 residential buildings have been damaged, including a multi-story building. The fire that broke out in the garages has been localized.

According to the Prosecutor's Office, search and rescue operations are ongoing to determine the exact number of casualties.

Under the procedural guidance of the Dnipropetrovsk Region Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated in a criminal case for violations of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional homicide (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, an Emergency Psychological Aid Center has been set up on-site, and psychologists are working with the victims and local residents.

On the morning of September 8th, in Ukraine, an air alert was announced, particularly in the Dnipropetrovsk region, due to the threat of a missile strike. During the alert in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region, an explosion occurred. Residents were asked not to take photos of the "impact site."

Later, it became known that the missile hit an administrative building, which also housed a police department. Initially, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko, reported that one police officer was killed, and 25 others were injured.
