Shelling of Kramatorsk, September 2 - Residents urged not to approach shells
Russian military attacked Kramatorsk city in the Donetsk region, reports the Kramatorsk City Council on Telegram.
It is reported that after 16:30 in Kramatorsk, several series of explosions were heard.
"The community members are finding debris throughout the city, including unexploded ordnance. Under no circumstances approach them and immediately notify emergency services at 101," the message states.
Currently, there is no information about casualties.
The head of the Regional Military Administration shared details
As the head of Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko revealed, the Russians shelled the city with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).
"The occupiers struck today at around 16:40, targeting an apartment building, an area near the cemetery, and damaging the road surface. The rocket that hit the residential building did not detonate," he stated.
According to preliminary information, there were no casualties. Currently, rescuers and the police are working at the scene.
Shelling in Donetsk region
Towns and settlements in Donetsk region are subjected to daily shelling by Russian occupiers. Both front-line cities and villages in the region, as well as those in the relative rear, are suffering.
Recently, Sloviansk in the Donetsk region came under attack, and a factory was damaged as a result.
Russian military forces also shelled Kramatorsk using the S-300 air defense missile system. As a result of the enemy attack, two people were killed, and another one was injured.
