Explosions were heard in Kryvyi Rih on the evening of July 22 and during the night of July 23, according to a statement by Oleksandr Vilkul.

During the night of July 23, the Russian army launched drones toward Kryvyi Rih. A series of explosions were heard in the city.

"There were Shahed strikes in several locations, including a business and private homes," Oleksandr Vilkul wrote.

According to him, the authorities are setting up an Assistance Headquarters at the nearest Palace of Culture, where people will be provided with building materials and can submit applications for financial aid from the city.

Shortly before that, the Air Force had reported the movement of several strike drones toward the city. Later, Vilkul reported another wave of explosions in Kryvyi Rih.

Strike on Ukraine on July 21

In the night of July 21, Russia launched a massive combined attack on Ukraine, using Shahed drones, Kalibr and Kinzhal missiles, as well as cruise missiles from Tu-95 bombers.

Explosions were heard in Kyiv within the first few hours of the attack. A fire broke out on the roof of a building in the Darnytskyi district.

Kharkiv was also targeted, leading to fires, damaged roads, a tram track, and power lines.

Moreover, Russian forces launched MiG-31 fighter jets three times during the night, these aircraft are carriers of Kinzhal hypersonic missiles.
