Shahed attack: Strikes on energy infrastructure reported near Poltava
Despite the successful work of the Air Defense Forces, during a massive Russian drone attack in the Poltava region, an energy infrastructure facility was hit, the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Filip Pronin reports.
“It was loud in the Poltava region. Despite the successful work of our defenders, unfortunately, we had a hit on an energy infrastructure facility in Poltava district,” he wrote.
According to Pronin, a fire broke out after the enemy UAV hit. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.
On the night of May 8, Russia attacked Ukraine with attack UAVs and cruise missiles.
Explosions were heard in Kharkiv and Poltava region, Zaporizhzhia and Ivano-Frankivsk region, Lviv region, and Kyiv, and air defense systems were operating in Kyiv region.
