The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) has announced suspicion against the Governor of Russia's Samara Region, Vyacheslav Fedorishchev. Law enforcement has gathered evidence against the Russian official, according to the SSU's Department in Kirovohrad Region on Facebook.

The Governor of Samara Region has been charged with financing terrorist activities of the Russian occupation army on the territory of Ukraine (Part 4 of Article 110-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, the Russian official personally visited the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions multiple times. He supplied the Russian occupying forces with electronic warfare equipment, provisions, bulletproof vests, strike drones, and transportation.

The investigation found that since the beginning of 2024, Fedorishchev had been supplying the 30th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Russian Federation, which is fighting in the Donetsk Region, with vehicles, equipment, gear, and no less than 1 million rubles monthly.

The Governor of the Samara Region has been charged in absentia.

It is also worth noting that Ukrainian law enforcement announced suspicion against Russian Lieutenant General Sergey Kobylash, who ordered a missile strike on the children's hospital Okhmatdyt in Kyiv in the summer of 2024.

Additionally, the SSU has charged the head of the Central Bank of Russia, Elvira Nabiullina, for her involvement in supporting the war against Ukraine. This is the second case against Nabiullina, who was also charged for implementing the so-called "ruble zone" on the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
