Saudi ambassador's residence damaged in Russian attack, Zelenskyy says

New Russian strikes on Ukraine have killed and injured people. In addition, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said a building used as the Saudi ambassador's residence was damaged.
"Today alone, and in Kyiv alone, Russian jet-powered drones 'vanquished' two kindergartens and two schools, an ordinary residential building, an auto repair shop, several warehouses, and communications facilities. Anywhere in the world, this choice of targets would be called by one word—terrorism," Zelenskyy stressed.
Amid this, he once again reminded the international community that these Russian attacks have no military logic whatsoever.
According to him, the Kremlin's main goal at this point is to intimidate and break the civilian population.
Zelenskyy also confirmed that the latest Russian strikes have caused not only injuries but also deaths.
He said that since yesterday, Russia has attacked Ukrainians with 277 strike drones of various types. Importantly, 155 of them were jet-powered.
"Among the damaged sites is also a building used as the residence of the Saudi Arabian Ambassador. In the Dnipropetrovsk region, a sports school is among the damaged facilities. In the Sumy region, the building of a regional children's home was damaged," Zelenskyy noted.
The head of state once again called on all of Kyiv's allies to put maximum pressure on Russia, as it has shown no intention of ending the war.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported on the aftermath of Russia's new attacks on Kyiv on September 27.
As previously reported, Russian forces also dropped an aerial bomb on an orphan asylum in Sumy city, killing and injuring people.
