Satellite image of destroyed Russian ammunition depot near Mariupol emerged
Units of the Ukrainian Navy carried out a missile strike on Russian ammunition depots. Satellite images of the strike's aftermath have surfaced online, Radio Liberty reports.
It is reported that satellite images show the aftermath of fires and ammunition detonations in three different locations around Mariupol. One of the depots was likely located in a forest. The published footage shows a large-scale fire resulting from the strike on the Russian depot, where an ammunition detonation likely occurred.
According to eyewitnesses, one of the strikes took place last Friday, September 13, and the others occurred from Sunday night to Monday.
What preceded this
Last Friday, media reported that a strike had been carried out on a missile depot for the Russian air defense systems near Mariupol. According to Mariupol Mayor’s advisor Petro Andriushchenko, a direct hit on a depot with munitions and air defense system missiles in the village of Hlyboke was confirmed.
Today, the Ukrainian Navy confirmed that a missile strike had been carried out on Russian ammunition depots near Mariupol.
