Explosions and panic as drones target Moscow and outskirts
The latest drone strike in the capital and surrounding areas was recorded in the early hours of July 20. Residents of Zelenograd, Goluboye, and the Kaluga region reported hearing explosions and the distinct sound of drones flying overhead.
For instance, in Zelenograd’s 15th microdistrict, eyewitnesses said they heard loud blasts, and drones were flying just above the rooftops of apartment buildings. Windows were shattered in some homes. Residents of Goluboye also said that during the powerful bangs, the walls and windows of their houses shook.
Zelenskyy imposes sanctions against anti-Ukrainian propagandists
On July 20, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy imposed sanctions against anti-Ukrainian propaganda. The sanctions are against three Ukrainians and two Russians for participating in information campaigns aimed at undermining Ukraine's defense capabilities, promoting anti-Ukrainian narratives, and legitimizing the armed Russian aggression.
The list includes:
- Russian blogger Yulia Latynina,
- Ukrainian blogger Andrii Serebrianskyi (Andrii Luhanskyi),
- businessman Hennadii Balashov,
- former MP Natalia Korolevska,
- Z-voenkor Tatiana Aksenenko.
