What happened before
This week, several cases of suspected sabotage at German military bases were reported.
First, on the night of August 14, water monitoring sensors were triggered at an air force base in the Wahn district of Cologne. This raised suspicions of possible poisoning. This raised suspicions of potential poisoning. According to base personnel, they noticed a suspicious individual dressed in black, but the person managed to escape. A hole was found in the base’s fence, and several people from the base later reported health problems.
A similar incident occurred at the NATO military base in Geilenkirchen. An unknown person was captured on security cameras climbing over the fence. Water samples taken at the site showed no abnormalities, but the investigation is ongoing.
Today it became known that for the third time in Germany, suspicions of possible biological or chemical contamination of the water supplied to the Bundeswehr base have arisen, this time in the city of Mechernich.
