Russians target Odesa energy sites at night: What regional officials say

Russian forces on the night of November 16 once again attacked civilian infrastructure and energy facilities in Odesa region. In particular, a solar power plant was damaged, according to the Telegram of Odesa Regional Military Administration head Oleh Kiper.
"The enemy continues to deliberately strike civilian infrastructure in southern Odesa. Despite active air defense efforts, strike drones again damaged energy facilities overnight, including a solar power plant," Kiper said.
According to him, the fires that broke out were quickly extinguished by the State Emergency Service units. No casualties were reported.
The head of the regional administration added that resilience points have been deployed in the affected area. Life-support facilities and critical infrastructure have been switched to backup power.

The Ministry of Energy confirmed that last night the enemy again struck energy facilities in Odesa region.
Power outages have been reported in the region. Emergency Service and energy workers have already begun restoration work.

As a reminder, during the day on November 15, Russian occupiers attacked Zaporizhzhia district using an FPV drone. Near the village of Bilenke, local fishermen were affected: one person was killed and another injured.
Yesterday, the Russians also attacked a key energy facility in Nizhyn district, leaving a significant part of Chernihiv region without electricity.
On the night of November 15, Russian forces struck Dnipro and the surrounding region with strike drones, causing fires, damaging enterprises, and injuring one person.
On November 14, the occupiers hit a police service vehicle in Kharkiv region with an FPV drone, killing one police officer.
