Russians prepare Mariupol port for smuggling grain stolen from Ukraine
Russia is preparing the port of Mariupol for the transportation of grain stolen from Ukraine. We are talking about volumes of up to 5 million tons, according to Sprotyv.
For example, the fake Federal Agency for Sea and River Transport, ROA, has announced plans to increase the capacity of the port of Mariupol to 4.8 million tons.
“Since the beginning of the year, the volume of cargo transshipment, which the enemy unceremoniously steals and sends outside Ukraine, in the port of Mariupol has already exceeded 165 thousand tons. In total, 84.2 thousand tons of agricultural products have already been stolen and exported,” the source said.
As noted, the Russian invaders are clearly implementing Putin's plan for the “demilitarization of Ukraine”, taking out of our land, first of all, bread and equipment of the once largest industrial giants of Europe, such as Avdiivka Coke and Azovstal in Mariupol.
Situation in the port of Mariupol
The port in Mariupol, which was seized by Russian troops in February 2022, was turned by the Russians into a hub for storing equipment and personnel.
The port has also recently seen unprecedented activity of Russian ships, including tankers. For example, in late June, the third Russian tanker was spotted in the port of Mariupol.
At the time, it was reported that such activity could be related to two things, including the fact that Russia had begun launching Kalibr missiles from the Sea of Azov.
