What organizers say
The chairman of the Munich Security Conference, Christoph Heusgen, called for caution about Donald Trump's statement that high-ranking representatives of the United States and Russia are scheduled to hold talks in Munich.
Heusgen said that they had not accredited a single representative of the Russian government and that one couldn't get there without accreditation.
According to him, the German government also did not issue appropriate visas to representatives of the Russian government.
Trump's statements on war talks
After Trump announced a meeting on February 14 between representatives of Ukraine, Russia, and the United States at the Munich Security Conference, the Office of the President of Ukraine denied the possibility of such talks and stressed that the Ukrainian side must first negotiate with America and Europe.
