Russians launch missile attack on Mykolaiv
The Russian army hit Mykolaiv with rockets on the evening of December 8, reports the head of Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration Vitalii Kim on Telegram.
"On the night of December 8, at around 10:12 p.m., a rocket struck the city of Mykolaiv," according to reports.
The impact occurred in an open area on the outskirts of Mykolaiv, fortunately causing no injuries.
Recent artillery fire targeted Ochakiv in the evening and morning, with no reported damages or casualties. Additionally, the village of Solonchaky in the Kutsurub community was subjected to Russian fire, resulting in no casualties.
It's worth noting that Mykolaiv experienced an explosion last night, and there was no air alert in the region during the incident.
Missile attack on Ukraine - December 8
On the morning of December 8, Russian forces employed Tu-95MS strategic bombers against Ukraine for the first time since September 21, 2023. The planes launched 19 cruise missiles over Ukraine, with 14 being successfully intercepted.
Although the missiles were headed towards Kyiv, they were thwarted before reaching their target, with some intercepted in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Unfortunately, one missile hit, resulting in a casualty.
