Russians launch 80 assaults daily on Tavria front
Russian occupants in the Tavria direction have been conducting about 80 attacks daily for three days in a row, most of them in the Donetsk region, according to Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, commander of the Tavria Operational Strategic Group of troops.
"The occupiers do not reduce the number of combat clashes in the area of responsibility of the Tavria Operational Strategic Group of troops. For three days in a row - about 80 assault actions daily. Most of them are in Donetsk region," says Tarnavskyi.
According to him, Russian assault groups usually consist of up to 20 people. They operate, among other things, with the support of armored vehicles.
In addition, yesterday the number of air strikes increased again, and the enemy is using aerial bombs.
The situation at the front
According to a report by the Institute for War Studies, Ukrainian soldiers continue to conduct offensive and defensive operations. The Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled a total of 45 Russian attacks in the Avdiivka direction. Ukrainian forces also continue to hold positions on the left bank of the Kherson region.
Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine as of the morning of Friday, December 15, amount to 1,090 troops, bringing the total number of Russian army losses since the beginning of the invasion to approximately 343,890. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 38 armored combat vehicles, 24 cars, and 20 drones.
