Russian occupiers shelled Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region this morning, resulting in injuries to an 84-year-old civilian, as the local Prosecutor's Office reports.

"According to the investigation, on July 30, around 8:00 a.m., the Russian military conducted a mortar attack on the town of Vovchansk. A residential building was damaged, and an 84-year-old civilian resident was injured," the statement reads.

The investigative group has documented the consequences of the enemy's shelling. A pre-trial investigation has been launched into the violation of laws and customs of war.

Russian occupiers continue to shell settlements in the Kharkiv region daily, especially those located near the frontline and on the Russian border.

Recently, the enemy shelled the Kupiansk district of the region, resulting in injuries to five people.
