On Sunday, September 22, Russian forces dropped a 250-kilogram aerial bomb on the city of Sloviansk in the Donetsk region. As a result of the attack, there are reported casualties, according to the Donetsk regional prosecutor's office on Telegram.

Today at 11:50, the occupiers dropped a FAB-250 bomb on Sloviansk from a military aircraft. The strike targeted a residential area.

The bomb hit one of the houses. Rescue teams freed a woman from the rubble of the building. Two of her neighbors, aged 53 and 54, also sustained injuries. The victims were transported to the hospital for urgent medical care.

According to Vadym Liah, the head of the Sloviansk city military administration, the neighborhoods of Cherevkivka and Slovkurort were attacked. As a result of the strike, several private homes were destroyed and damaged.

A criminal case has been opened regarding the violation of the laws and customs of war by Russian troops (Article 438, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Night attack by the enemy

In the night of September 22, Russian occupiers launched two guided air-to-surface missiles (Kh-59/69) and 80 strike drones at Ukraine. Air defense forces shot down 71 Shahed drones, while six more were lost due to electronic warfare.

Air defense operations were conducted in the regions of Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Sumy, Poltava, Kherson, and Mykolaiv.

In Khmelnytskyi region, a residential building was damaged as a result of the enemy attack. In Poltava region, Russian drones targeted energy infrastructure.

Additionally, Russian forces dropped bombs on Kharkiv, damaging a high-rise building and injuring more than 20 people.
