Russians creating filtration units in occupied Ukrainian territories
In the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, the Russian invaders are creating separate units under the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs whose task will filter the local population, according to the National Resistance Center of Ukraine.
In particular, representatives of these units will check the population and equipment, as well as so-called guard filtration camps where the Russian occupiers illegally detain Ukrainians on suspicion of disloyalty.
"The temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine have turned into an open-air prison, where the rules of a strategic facility apply. It is to maintain and strengthen this situation that separate police units are being created," the statement says.
Ukrainian territories occupied by Russia
Recently, in the Kherson region, local collaborator gauleiter banned entry to a 15-kilometer zone near Dnipro.
Russia is sending militias to the occupied districts of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.
In addition, the Russian occupiers are bringing Russian guards to the occupied territories of Ukraine to fight so-called extremism.
