During a Russian drone attack on Ukraine on the night of March 11-12, an infrastructure facility in the Ternopil region caught fire. The nearest settlement remains without gas and electricity, according to the Ternopil Regional Military Administration.

"Last night, as a result of attacks by enemy Shahed UAVs, a fire broke out at an infrastructure facility in the Kremenets district," the statement says.

Currently, according to the TRMA, firefighting is ongoing.

"No one was killed or injured. During the Shahed attack, electricity and gas supplies were suspended in the nearest village to the damaged infrastructure facility. As of 7 a.m., electricians have restored power to the settlement, and gas supply will be resumed soon," the administration adds.

Russian shelling of Ukraine

On the night of March 11-12, the Russian occupiers launched Shahed kamikaze drones across Ukraine. An air raid alert was declared in several regions. In particular, explosions were heard in the Khmelnytskyi region.

The Ukrainian Air Force later said that Russian troops attacked Ukrainian territory at night with Shahed drones and a cruise missile. Ukrainian Air Defense Forces destroyed most of the drones. In particular, the Russian occupiers launched 22 Shaheds, 17 of which were shot down.
